Dr Ksenja Prejac Vucko
BVSc (Hons1) MANZCVsc
(Small Animal Medicine)Ksenja graduated from Sydney University in 2006. She worked in small animal practice for three years before embarking on several years of emergency work in Canberra and Sydney. Since the arrival of her three children, general practice has been more suitable for family life.
Ksenja’s most memorable moment in the industry would be her attainment of Small Animal Medicine Membership, which has strengthened her love of complex medicine cases in dogs and cats.
Ksenja would like to expand the feline practice in this area and is currently studying to sit for Feline Medicine Membership exam in 2024.
Besides her three children, Ksenja enjoys spending time with her three dogs, Ella the Labrador, Jamie the Golden Retriever and Billy the Labradoodle, and her ginger cat, Mr Gin, whilst quilting in her very own sewing room.

Lindy Roberts
Customer Care
Lindy has been working in the Veterinary Industry for 36 years, with having a gap year in the middle at Sydney Airport Customs.
With an astounding amount of experience and knowledge, Lindy’s most memorable moments of her career are a Caesarean where she helped deliver 18 live Doberman puppies, and also an unforgettable horse call, where she helped administer chemotherapy treatment in the field on a horse midst electrical storm.
While Lindy isn’t working, she has five pets of her own, Pippa the Maltese , Pamela the French Bulldog, and Brian, John-John and Gary the Burmese boys. Lindy loves walking her dogs, reading and traveling.
Lindy recently traveled to Indonesia to swim with Sea Turtles, and swimming with Whale Sharks is next on the list. Her last goal in the Veterinary Industry is to complete her long career with the amazing team at Oak Flats Vet Clinic.

Shannon Newman
Veterinary Nurse
Shannon has been working as a Veterinary Nurse in small animal practice for the past five years, graduating in 2019.
Shannon has completed her Feline Emergency Nursing Certificate and is currently completing the Feline Nursing Foundation Diploma, with this currently being her main goal for her career. With also completing her Wildlife Taronga Nursing Training, she also has the goal to continue to increase her knowledge of native wildlife nursing, specifically focusing on continuing her volunteer work with Koala care and research studies, alongside volunteer work with Orangutangs in Borneo in 2023.
One of Shannon’s recent most memorable moments in this industry, was rescuing her current kitten (Friday), and watching her recover both mentally and physically after a back leg amputation. Friday now runs around Shannon’s family home as if she isn’t missing a leg. Shannon is also mum to Dolly the Jug, and her two angel pets, the beloved Zoe & Preston.

Alanis Dalziel
Veterinary Nurse
Alanis has been working as a Veterinary Nurse for three years now, graduating in 2019, but has been working alongside horses for the past 9 years.
Whilst working in small animal practice, Alanis’ most memorable case was pulling 20+ ticks off an unwell Blue Tongue Lizard and seeing it go from being very flat and lethargic to recovering and being ready for release.
Alanis currently holds her main focus as increasing her patient care experience and knowledge, with the goal to move on to work in a large animal hospital or wildlife hospital.
Alanis is owned by her Bull Terrier cross Cattle Dog, Kora, who is known to be the life of the party. Alanis also has two horses, Blinkin who is a retired thoroughbred, and Dakota the Appaloosa, who she does low level shows and trail riding with. Alanis also enjoys drawing in her free time.
